additionally i frequently have more than one dream in one night due to waking up and falling asleep again.

12/28/21

dreamed i was playing some kind of VR horror game, or at least a dream approximation by someone who's never touched a real VR headset. it was mostly just an average dream with the caveat that it wasn't real and i could press a button on my temple to open a menu. can't remember too much but i think i was trying to save some woman from a strange multicolored prison (looked like one of those "impossible shape" type illustrations except three dimensional) and i was traversing this creepy building in order to help her? somehow? there were dogs at one point and i shot at them but the "controls" were janky so i missed. probably had resident evil on the mind lol. the dream ended when i entered this large mazelike area with the floor covered in flies. like a carpet. just a swarming silver mass of them. i was running away from something while desperately trying to press the button on my temple to quit the game but it wasn't working. i saw a tiger come out from around a corner holding someone by the torso in its jaws and then woke up sort of freaked out.

dreamed i went for a ride on my bike and encountered my aunt. we went to a store and i found a stress ball of a highly obscure fictional character. i must have come home somehow at this point because then the dream changed. it was raining. my bedroom was a tent in the backyard. my neighbor had a weird sign up on the fence about a spider that had escaped and their backyard was a dense forest. i was scared to leave my tent because what if the spider was venomous, but the tent was still connected to the rest of the house somehow so i went to the kitchen and talked about something or other. can't remember anything else. i find it strange when bugs appear as scary figures in my dreams considering that i love bugs

dreamed i was watching a youtube livestream of an oldish 3D platformer (i was both watching the stream and playing the game on the stream or inside the game at varying points). it sort of had the vibe of this scooby doo wii game i played as a child. it wasn't a real video game though

i remember going to what i think was a dream approximation of my elementary school in the early morning. i handed my brother a small blue gemstone which he proceeded to put in his mouth followed by me increasingly desperately begging him to spit it out. at another point in the dream i was in some kind of mall and complimented a woman's sweater and asked where she bought it which sort of spiraled into my efforts to find that particular sweater because there were a lot of knockoffs or something

dreamed my house was haunted and we peeled back the wallpaper to reveal hundreds of perfectly preserved human skins behind the walls each hung up on something sort of resembling a kimono stand. had to jump across treetops or something to go tell someone about it. at one point this image of john lennon photoshopped to have a really long asscrack was involved for some reason

dreamed a stranger in a red sports car drove up to our house and i was pushing and making fun of him for some reason and he got so angry his face turned red like that one emoji (😡) and i laughed at him. but then my mom said "oh no, they're back" like there was some kind of family curse or something and i got this very specific feeling that only happens in my dreams when demons and the like are involved. then her face also turned red and she started choking and i got so scared i woke up

dreamed i opened my window and saw a bomb explode

also dreamed i was in some kind of hotel and there was a tornado and it threw our car so we couldn't leave and were stuck in the building. at the end the tornado turned solid and exploded into snow and ice crystals for whatever reason

dreamed i was at some kind of weird music venue i think, planting tomato seeds under patches of mold. except the "mold" was more like moss. unclear what the purpose of this was. i hate tomatoes in real life

dreamed i was in some kind of hotel/arcade hybrid and found a bunch of old mascot costume heads in a closet

dreamed i was washing my hands and there was a dark scab in the middle of the back of my hand where the skin had cracked open. i was talking with someone so i looked away for a moment and when i looked back there were two intersecting globs of dark blood where the scab had been. looked away again and my whole hand was covered in a gradient from dark red almost black dried blood at my fingers to a lighter red towards my wrist. unsure if i said anything about it to whoever i was talking to. pretty cut and dry contamination ocd type dream, in real life i have really dry skin from excessive hand washing. even so the image of it remains in my head

had a dream i was destroying some notebooks because there was some kind of dangerous occult information in them. i think they were trying to summon something? unclear.

dreamed all the power lines were replaced with wooden scaffolding full of glowing orbs. reminiscent of the memories from "inside out" except they were all a pale yellow.

dreamed about a guy who could absorb human flesh. it was scary but one of those thrilling nightmares you're not too upset about upon waking up. probably inspired by that one guy from the magnus archives i forget his name. bone turner's tale etc etc

dreamed i went into the back of a grocery store with my mom and ended up being chased out by a murderer. my dad was with me instead of my mom when we ran out but this was unacknowledged inside the dream.

dreamed i made friends with a cool girl and we hung out for a while. i remember her dragging me around on a really long inflatable couch. at some point though the dream spiraled into being about a haunted school and unraveling its secrets. it was a very nice dream in the end

dreamed my cats were in the backyard so i rushed out to get them but jaguar (one of the cats) ran away and jumped onto the roof of the neighbor behind us. i started calling his name and he ran back. the neighbor's house was much fancier than it actually is. also we had a basement which we don't actually.

dreamed i was walking on some kind of snowy catwalks surrounded by concrete buildings.

ended up in an arcade somehow. there was a furby in a claw machine but it became a bossfight for whatever reason.

dreamed a bear flew down from the sky and landed behind our truck. it was just me, my brother, and my little sister in there. i kept trying to tell them not to get out because there was a bear outside but my brother was egging my sister on to open the door. at one point the bear was wearing a denim jacket (???)

dreamed i was joining some kind of weird organization and i had to mark my hand to get in. the device for marking just looked like a syringe but my palm ended up completely covered in blood. discovered you can feel the pain of putting disinfectant on a wound in your dreams.

dreamed i walked in on my mother playing super danganronpa 2 in the living room and it suddenly cut to an illustration of an animal skull with red eyes in a black void with a text box reading

"Tagged. People. Jump scare. Fuck."

and was so confused i woke up.

dreamed i had time traveled to what i think was supposed to be the late 90's (was not alive in the 90's) and encountered a weird looking laptop labeled "netscape navigator" and became fascinated by it but it was the last one in the store and i broke the disc drive somehow.

had a dream that i was in some kind of weird hotel/apartment building/mall hybrid. my family had gone out to a restaraunt and it was raining heavily. i didn't go with them and instead went to a lower floor to some kind of trinket shop to look for a pin button with nagito komaeda on it but didn't end up finding one.

another dream in the same night was that i was grocery shopping. picked up a plush rabbit with the nonbinary flag colors on it. as i went to leave my mask was full of a very large amount of dust for whatever reason so i asked an employee for a new one. after that a cop told me i needed to bring my mother's cart up to the car but he pronounced it very badly. no accent, he just said it weird. also he was L.A. police for some reason. upon leaving the store i saw my mother a little ways away, and my brother was now inexplicably accompanying me. then i looked up and saw a large red storage container fall out of the sky and ran away because it could explode or catch fire. i looked back and it had landed and my mother and little sister were getting closer to it so i screamed at them not to do that and it blew up but they somehow weren't seriously harmed. at that point all of us ran for the car disregarding the groceries and then i woke up.

dreamed i was kidnapped by luther von ivory and was sitting in the back seat of his car with the catmen. i remember being worried nyen would hurt me but he didn't do anything. i think i had an opportunity to escape near the end but i didn't take it because i wanted to see where this goes. woke up before anything of much interest happened though. disappointing.

dreamed my brother had glued a bunch of foam and some other to my piano bench for some reason. trying to DIY???? i remember being very mad at him. i don't play piano, i use the bench as a bedside table.

dreamed i had lice and went to visit my aunt and uncle and accidentally got lice on their furniture. i think this is because that day i had been chitchatting with my mom about how i only ever had lice as a kid once and she caught it before it got bad so i never even knew.

dreamed about something or other and became lucid partway through. was talking to my parents about something and ended the sentence with "but that doesn't matter, since this is just a dream" and my ears started ringing. i waved my hands in front of their faces going "you aren't real" all sing-songy and they didn't react at all. naturally my immediate course of action from there was to leave and try to have a wet dream but it didn't work out. the person i was doing it with warped into an advertisement or something, and thus i was locked out of having sex due to premium content restrictions, which i did not question because i had lost a good amount of lucidity by that point. ah... flew too close to the sun, i guess... lol

dreamed i was swimming through a large series of underwater tunnels and kokichi ouma was with me for whatever reason. thought my headphones broke because of all the water at some point (i had been wearing them the whole time)

dreamed i somehow ended up having to teach a bunch of kindergarteners about bugs but all i had was my phone so i was fumbling. just pulling up pictures of various bugs and reciting fun facts pretty much. at the end a lady said she'd give me 50 bucks if i taught her kid for an extra hour so i taught them about jumping spiders. ended up getting 100 bucks because the lady was rich

dreamed the roof of my bedroom collapsed on me and i almost died. i remember being at peace thinking "oh, so this is the end."

dreamed there was some kind of weird 4th of july parade but then we went to a library and there was a singing contest (???) i did not participate and instead looked around. sort of scholastic book fair-ish. i found a book about bugs which came with a rubber frog for whatever reason. also was wearing my clown mask the whole time

dreamed i was watching wayneradiotv play elden ring with a weird mannequin and all of a sudden the mannequin's face was covered up by a black and white photo of dead bodies in trash bags with a low droning noise in the background and wayne just pushed the mannequin offscreen and continued playing.
